Assalaamu Aleikum
I'm a twenty-something year old Somali guy from London.
I opened this blog because I feel the increasing divide between Somali girls and guys living in the diaspora has reached a critical stage, I also opened this blog (main reason actually) is because I absolutely love Somali girls, there aren't enough words in any man made language that can EVEN begin to describe to you how amazing and beautiful I think you are, just mashallah. I also feel like Somali women ingeneral are not given enough credit within our culture/heritage and in their achievements, so this page is for that as well.

TO ALL SOMALI GIRLS READING THIS,
I hope you know, that THERE ARE Somali men OUT THERE who genuinely think the ground you walk on is hallowed. you are beautiful beyond description, although I have love for hijabis and non hijabis, I don't believe in judging or shaming muslim women who don't wear a hijab, infact I believe its quite unislamic, judgement is entirely God's and not anybody elses and anybody who passes judgement like that, regardless of how pious they pretend to be are not god loving folk, if anything by passing judgement like that, they are more or less saying "they know better than Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala", these people are simple but YOU are sublime. Don't ever forget that! Islam is in the heart, not in what you wear, there are men who have full beards and women who wear hijabs who do the most unislamic things, and when qiyamah comes, we will get judged for our actions,intents and whats in our hearts.

This blog is for you Xaliimo, wether you are 75 years old and your grandson is showing you this Tumblr page:P wether you are 12 years old and you don't think you are beautiful because you don't have blonde hair or not light skinned enough, wether you are in your twenties and you are saying "I don't want to date somali guys because [insert stupid reason/generalization]", No matter what your geographical location is, no matter what your reality is or what your perception of reality is. this is for you and you alone.

Somali girls get followed back immediately(if I haven't followed you back, just inbox me, I probably didn't realize you were somali).
everybody else needs to be interesting, insightful or somali to be followed!

LASTLY(VERY IMPORTANT POINT),
if you are coming on this thing for hateration, then that is on you! I did not open this thing for buuq iyo dagal. THIS is about Somaalinimo and bridging gaps, Somalia to Somaliland to Puntland to Djibouti to Ogadenia to whatever, you get me, you can rip up a passport but blood is irreplaceable.
