every time I think about how strong somali people are the first thing that pops into my mind is Samira Hashi’s documentary about her going back to Somalia

She meets this woman who lost 3 of her children in a bombing. When she tells her story, Samira (a british raised somali model) starts crying and the woman who lost her children begins comforting her and tell her to be quiet and not to cry
